Happy Tuesday! If you missed the first two installments of Pinteresting Recipes, you can find them here and here. What is Pinteresting Recipes all about? Find out here!
This week I wanted to cook something for a quick and easy weeknight dinner. This pin had a lot of positive comments and when I clicked over to the source, the recipe had nothing but great reviews. I had to give it a try.
Pork Tenderloin with Pan Sauce

Here’s how mine turned out:
{Sorry about the iPhone photo, that’s what happens when you serve dinner later than the sunset.}
Notes:
- I followed the recipe exactly, but it came out a bit saltier than I would like.
- To counteract the salt, next time I will add some honey to the marinade.
Despite the fact that it was a little too salty for my taste, the three of us loved this dish. It was so easy! It’s hard to go wrong with pork tenderloin but this marinade and pan sauce really take the pork to another level. This recipe will definitely make a regular appearance on our dinner table.

Pretty sure I pinned this one, too! Yours looks great, good to note on the salt!

Yeah I was thinking of adding maple syrup to it and maybe Chinese five spice. Don’t know what this had for seasoning as the “source” showed me gazpacho…sigh… As for salt I rarely go by what a recipe uses, but then I have rarely used recipes since culinary school unless I’m baking or doing pastry (read-not very often). Like this comparison… nice post I’ll be sure and RT it from Taste! Have a super day!
I was thinking maple syrup or honey and Chinese five spice would be delicious! The source link should take you to the blog main page and the pin will take you to the recipe. I think the saltiness was from the soy sauce, so that’s what I would cut–there wasn’t any salt added in the recipe. Thanks for the RT and comment!
this looks good! what did you do to your rice? that looks good too.

Thanks! The rice is actually just Near East Rice Pilaf from a box! It’s a guilty pleasure, I love that stuff.
