It’s hard to believe that 2012 is coming to a close today. We’ve had an action packed year! I know I don’t share as much of our lives on here as I used to and I hope you can forgive me for that. I started to shift my blog away from food and more towards life but realized that 1) we’re not all that interesting 2) I value my privacy and the privacy of my family. Sounds ridiculous to say that on a public blog, doesn’t it? But it’s true. It also explains why there haven’t been any photos of Caroline recently, and there won’t be many in the future either. This blog, my hobby, reflects a fraction of my interests and my life. I absolutely love being able to share things in this way and have some really fun ideas for 2013. I can’t wait to get started.
Here’s a little look back at the top 10 recipes from The Splattered Apron in 2012.
Almond Butter Chocolate Strawberry Bars
Loubieh bi Zeit {Stewed Beans and Tomatoes}
I don’t want this post to get too long so I’ll be back a little later today to review how I did with my goals for last year. But just in case that doesn’t happen….
Happy New Year! Here’s to 2013!

OK, you just made me really really hungry with this post! I totally know what you mean about sharing your life on your blog and totally respect that. It’s a fine line and I go back and forth about how much I want to share about my family, my boys, etc. especially as the boys get older. I think that we all need to make the right decisions for ourselves and our families. Happy New Year Lisa to you and your beautiful family!! Can’t wait to see what 2013 has in store.
